My personal experiences have shown me the significance of being consciously present to discover genuine joy in life. I spent too much time 'being busy' and failed to appreciate the beauty of each moment.
My current mantra is: Surrender, Trust, Allow
I strive to remind myself to find joy in the small things. I practice gratitude and, despite being human and occasionally feeling less than great, I remember that each experience is a lesson. I can choose to learn from it or not, and this helps to soothe my ADHD mind.

My time at the retreat was not what I expected. It felt like I was just hanging out with old friends. I constantly felt at home and most importantly at ease and was able to express my true self. I loved by the nature walk which was followed by a beautiful healthy lunch where we engaged in thoughtful discussion. This was followed by a sensational infra-red sauna, a gentle reiki and a sprinkling of art. I felt surrounded by warmth and love and didn’t want to leave. Sarah’s home is welcoming, and warm and I can’t wait to go back – highly recommend this ideal break, away from the normal to spend quality time focused on me – and digital free!

A mid-afternoon infra-red sauna in the grounds of the beautiful garden made a surprisingly pleasant change from the customary spa experience. The outdoor shower was the icing on the cake!
